Ancient Greek Battle Inspires Threes

By Anthony Cashman

Graeme Watson uses the movie 300 to inspire the boys in a week of celebration for him

“This is Sparta” King Leonidas

Graeme Watson hosted a movie evening at his house this week in lieu of training.
He showed the movie 300 and various footage of him playing rugby his auditions to get on Love Island, My Kitchen Rules and various other reality TV programs.
"I thought it would be a good gee up for the boys, plus I get to remind them I am playing my 300th game this week....did you know that. It's a lot of games and I think everyone should know about my achievements. Plus I will answer to the title of King Leonidas for this week."

Captain David Binns got into the evening so much that he stripped down and and wore a sheet all night, causing a few of the colts that came along to seek therapy and an AVO the next day against him.
It also caused him to strain his groin in mysterious circumstances after, what the police called, a rather playful altercation with Blocka - who is also ruled out with an ankle ailment.

Numerous changes have been made to the starting line up, rather skilfully by coach Casho from the Occidental Hotel, where they have $6 pints on a Friday afternoon.
Hourny comes into 9 and Dan "Pencil" McOnie moves from 9 to 10. Pencil was on assignment in the twos but was looking forward being behind the massive and mobile pack of threes. "Geez, I like looking at the forwards behinds, but only in a platonic way. They really are the heroes, let's never forget that. Full credit to them."

Alex "The Sherriff" Bodenstaff joins the starting line up as Paul Epstein has withdrawn with an ailment collected from his time training in Bali.
"I'm glad that I have put all those police matters behind me, now I can get on and play my best rugby", said the ever enthusiastic Bodenstaff. " All those allegations are baseless and I never paid any unnecessary hush money to those girls. I can't wait to team up with Swaino to destroy the Joondalup scum. You should have seen him last Saturday night...he was pulling birds and didn't even had to look at them. He is a one of a kind guy."

Swaino, when asked said " I'm doing for the those Thai boys caught in the cave. I am so happy that they got out and can grow up to be beautiful Thai women."

Threes kick off at HBF Arena at 12.30 on the main ground in what should be a thrilling enconter between 4 & 10.
