Heart breaking loss to Southern Lions

4 months ago By Anthony Cashman

As well as breaking the hearts of ladies all over WA, threes managed to break the heart of their coach on Saturday

Third grade fell a little further behind in their race for the important eighth spot on the table over the weekend with a last minute loss to the pride of the South, Southern Lions.

The team was not able to put a good team performance together, although there were numerous good performances.

Newish boy Alex Spratt was man of the match and said, "Sam Forwood asked me before the game to look for the ball for him. I didn't know how literally he meant it. I couldn't find his but I'll have a good look next game."

Coach Anthony Cashman did urge the players to put the game behind them and get on with their lives as if nothing happened. "I told them to treat like something bad that happened to them in childhood - push it down and try and forget about it. Then get some therapy about ten years down the track, after those nasty flashbacks."

The coming week sees T-bag (if selected) run on for his illustrious 200th game. We will celebrate that in an upcoming blockbuster article that will raise the lid on his outrageous lifestyle and many romantic liasions (mostly with himself) written by the hard hitting Camerin Webb.

Training is on this Thursday, all have to attend (except Blocka), at 6.30pm sharp
